Pen Pal Party

The Internet is a wonderful invention. Social media is taking off and allows us to be more connected with friends and family than ever.  But as much fun as it is to wake up to a full inbox, I still find myself waiting expectantly every day to peek into my mailbox.

Why?

Because nothing quite compares to the feel of a hand-written letter.
Knowing that someone took the time to choose the paper, choose the pen, sit down and choose the words.  They thought you were worth the price of the stamp and the trip to the mailbox.

My entire life I've always jumped at the opportunity to sign up for a pen-pal.  Not only did I adore getting a special envelope in the mail, I really enjoyed learning about another person, another country, another culture.  In fact, I still participate in Postcrossing and count the days until my new postcards arrive

I'm assuming I can't be alone in my love for "snail mail" so I'm putting together
the
Pen Pal Party
