A Little Piece Of Me

What do you want the readers to know about you?
Hi, my name is Salena! I was born and raised and currently live in Hawaii. I am a wife, mother of 6 (3 adult kids & 3 little ones), and a grandmother of 3. I am a stay-at-home mommy to my 3 little girls and spend my days in what seems like a UFC fight and 3-ring circus. I am addicted to coffee, diet coke, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, re-creating my blog design, and pinterest.

I blog because I want to share my life with others in hopes to inspire them. It's a joy for me to talk with others and to connect with their life experiences and to share mine. I created “A Little Piece of Me” in hopes to fulfill this passion of mine. My blog centers around my daily life, marriage, parenting, things that interest me, what I'm passionate about and basically just where my heart thoughts lead me.

I opened my etsy shop shortly after I started my blog. In my shop you can find handmade & handcrafted accessories. Being born and raised in Hawaii, you will find some Hawaiian influences in my pieces.

I hope you will stop by my blog and shop sometime! I would LOVE to hear from you!

The Fontenot Four

What do you want the readers to know about you?
My name is Sarah. I am the one behind The Fontenot Four! I am in love with God, my husband {Ron}, and my girls {Moira and Peyton}. I am a stay a home mom of two girls (7 and 5), the younger of which is special needs and is medically fragile. I started The Fontenot Four as an outlet for me to write about the blessings in my life. The good stuff. Nothing negative. I figured if I focused on the positive for a change, it might really help me work through life's challenges. I decided somewhere along the way that I could really use my blog to help people. I love to blog about the blessings in my life, my faith, the occasional book review, recipes from time to time, musings about my family, and so on. I also have a little knitting shop on Etsy!

Is there anything we can help you promote this month?
I have been working on an adoption fundraiser for a friend of mine. There are a couple styles of reusable knit coffee sleeves in my Etsy shop which sell for $4 each. $3 from the sale of each sleeve goes towards the family's adoption fund!
