You may have read yesterday about the book I just finished called Fit Moms For Life. I cannot wait to get started on this new program! Not only has it given me the tools to plan healthier menus (it focuses a lot on the GI index to prevent blood sugar highs and lows, which keeps you feeling fuller longer and more stable mentally and emotionally) and to work out effectively, but it's given me the motivation to work out some of the emotional baggage I have regarding fitness, health and weight loss. I think the benchmark measurements it has you take will be really helpful in keeping track of my progress without having to weight myself (which I hate doing) all the time.
